Tap Mode examinations are optional. Our examiners aim to make the day positive and encouraging, recognising students of different abilities and celebrating progress alongside technique and performance.

Studios can offer exams from Pre 1 to Level 10. Tap Mode works with you to shape a practical in-studio schedule.
How examinations work

Tell Tap Mode when your studio would like to host an examination day.
Enter students
Submit the exam entry form and confirm the levels and students.
Welcome the examiner
Students perform in person and receive individual assessment.
Recognise progress
Each student receives a certificate, report and collectable pin.

What students receive
MORE THAN A MARK.
An individual report breaks down exercise marks and includes encouraging examiner feedback. The certificate reflects the student's level of attainment, with a collectable pin to mark the occasion.
